The Patriot Project (TPP) is excited to introduce our Community Engagement Coordinator, Erica Michaels. This position, made possible by the Disabled Veterans National Foundation Grant, is key to expanding our reach and heightening our engagement with our current and future supporters. Prior to receiving this grant, The Patriot Project was run solely by an amazing group of volunteers; however, we reached our capacity and the time had come where we needed someone focused full time on fundraising, marketing, volunteer coordination and community outreach. Thanks to the DVNF grant, we have now made this possible.
Erica comes to TPP with 20 years of marketing, recruitment, community outreach and management experience. For 14 years she led the Enrollment & Recruitment teams in various positions with her last 5 years as the Director of Enrollment for one of the top Chiropractic schools in the country, Life University. During this time she continuously exceeded enrollment goals and was asked to pave a path for enrollment in Europe. Prior to this role, Erica was a senior publicist for major motion picture studios, working directly with high-level talent as well as creating grassroots marketing campaigns, hosting major local and national events and working with press, community leaders, and CEOs of major companies. It is the combination of these experiences and talents that make Erica a great fit for this new role with The Patriot Project.
With 2023 upon us, Erica has already begun to tackle our strategic plan while offering additional insight on how to launch TPP further ahead. One of her first goals is to get the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations along with all 50 Chiropractic State Associations to endorse The Patriot Project. These endorsements will be valuable in expanding our Chiropractic base so that we may serve more veterans, active military and their families. It will also give us further financial support and help to increase attendance by chiropractors at our yearly Patriot Ball.
Dr. Tim Novelli began The Patriot Project 10 years ago and took it from an idea to a network of 9,000 doctors. With the addition of this position and Erica, the hope is to double the number of providers in the coming years. “It is an honor to be a part of The Patriot Project.”, stated Erica. “My life has been devoted to bringing chiropractic to the masses, now, combining forces with The Patriot Project, allows me to put my efforts toward ensuring that the most deserving Americans have access to the amazing results of Chiropractic.”
The Patriot Project is grateful for the grant from DVNF, with the addition of our Community Engagement Coordinator we look forward to increasing our reach and ability to help provide care to more of our veterans and active military.
