Jay Barton

Jay BartonJay is currently employed as a Certified Public Accountant and is a 1989 graduate of Kent State University.

Jay served in the United States Army Reserves from 1983 to 1997. His rank at time of discharge was Sergeant First Class (E-7). His Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) was 91Delta – Operating Room Technician. Jay was deployed with the 350th Evacuation Hospital from Canton, OH to King Kahlid Military City during 1990 & 1991 for Operation Desert Storm where he was the NCOIC of the Operating Room Section.

Jay has served in leadership roles over the last three decades in numerous civic organizations in the Louisville community including his church, Louisville Rotary, the Louisville Chamber of Commerce and The Louisville Public Library.

Currently, Jay is involved with The Patriot Project and the following 501(c)(3) organizations:

The Louisville Community Foundation where he is one of the Founding Members and currently serves as the President/Treasurer and as a Director on the board of directors.

The Louisville Scholarship Foundation – where he serves as a Trustee and as the Secretary/Treasurer.

The Louisville Public Library Community Advisory Committee – member of board.
